What is/are your least favorite subjects in school? |
|
I hate English and History. I hate English because its boring. My English teacher teaches me things I already learned in elementary. How boring is that? They also teach very slow and teach things you'll never even use in your whole life time. While History is an easy subject and important in school I still hate it. Recalling this old events makes me sleep( I did slept on one of my History class). My classmates also sleeps. They even use their Nintendo DS, PSP, and cellphone without our teacher knowing. I got all A's this whole year in History.

| 2. bohemian03 (76) | 5 months ago | oh wow. haha i love history. it's my favorite subject mainly because i'm a person who loves the past and reminisce about the good old times i've had. i'm also really interested in ancient history so i guess that's where my love for history comes from. there are many students in my history class who is on their cell during the class without the teacher knowing it which is pretty funny.
my least favorite probably would have to be... english. i was alright with english until i met this horrible teacher. she reads out students essays and destroys it. she destroys the feelings of many students and she doesn't even care. i don't care how good of a teacher she is. she is not a good teacher until she learns how to understand the feelings of students and make them motivated. she had the complete opposite effect on me.

defcon505 (425) | 5 months ago | My English grades are good too 3 A's and 1 B the past year. But the problem is my next teacher is known to be not good in grading students. My sister have her the past year. My sister got C's and she deserves better grade. I've looked to her paper many times. Thanks!

| 3. SomeGuyAnth (86) | 5 months ago | The subject I HATE the most is Physics. I got an all time low in that class. I don't know if it's me or because of my teacher. He always goes full speed ahead without going through the lessons with us. To be honest about 2 - 3 people actually do understand what their doing in class while the rest of us are like WHAT?
But then again I guess I'm not really a science kind of person and I had no clue how to explain theories or any of that other stuff, and I had to learn it the hard way:|

4. Sweetchariot (976) | 5 months ago | I hate history and geography...could never understand why we needed to know the past when we lived in the present, or why we needed to know where a certain country was on the darn map. I also hated Biology, and upon graduation my biology teacher signed my yearbook "Happiness is a "D" in Biology", because he knew I didn't deserve even the "D". And I expecially hated Algebra...still don't know why it was prerequisite for graduation.
But I loved, English, standard Math, typing, shorthand, and French Languages.

| 5. happy_phantom (73) | 5 months ago | That's a little humorous. I happen to love English and History, it's kind of why that's my major and minor. I have to say, wow, if your teacher is teaching you things you learned in elementary then you have one horrible teacher. The higher up you get into English the more it revolves around interpretation, historical and social importance and reference, analyzing and theorizing, researching, and being able to put your thoughts into concise, detailed, and compelling form. History tends to go hand-in-hand with English at times. Like English the higher you get the more complex it gets. It's no longer about just knowing facts, but knowing and understanding the cause and affects that led to events. How something from one corner of the world and time period affected another place in a different time. It's about understanding humanity, culture and society. It's about knowing what happened in the past and seeing how those events effect the here and now, because they do. History is in seeing, understanding, and recognizing what caused past mistakes so we don't make the same mistakes ourselves. On top of that you use those skills you learned and practiced to observe, study, research, and analyze in other fields and in current events. It helps you better understand the world you live in and why things are they way they are. Now that I'm off my soap box of awe and reverence to my favorite subjects. While I don't always dislike them, the subjects I have the most trouble with are advanced mathematics (such as Algebra II, Calculus, and higher) and higher sciences. I like sticking to the simple when it comes to those, though I do like reading about scientific discovers and theories.

7. heartbeats1010 (169) | 5 months ago | during my shool days, i hated history and chemistry. I hated those dammn chemical equations and balancing and those reactions and all. But some topics were interesting and the thing i hated the most was organig chemistry. Thank god, now we don't have chemitry. In engineering, we had chemistry in the firs tyear and again i found it ver boring and now the subjects are pretty interesting. CSo chemistry has always been a nightmare for me!
