its dangerous using the cellphone while driving in my country it can land you in jail of upto 30 days if found..its a major cause of accidents& the thing is you must have hands free& i support it..i do have a car kit with handsfree for that job its good ..

i think it makes sense to forbid using cell phone when driving. it is dangerous to do that because that distracts you and more likely leads to accident. just as the harm of smoking, using the cell phone when driving may satisfy you but at the same time it threatens the lives of others. on the other hand, i think small talk is necessary and important. but i think it is one common way of communication when driving even before the invention of cell phone. the difference between them has been that the use of mobile phone when driving can distract you since you have to get your left hand away from the wheel instead of both your hands steering it and you cannot see the face of the person you are talking to. so you have spent most of your energy in imagination and aspiring and have paid most of your attention to your left ear and the voice from the other side of the phone.
