| CynergyDiva (138) | 5 months ago |  Underdog you sound like the person to talk to. I've just started learning about niche marketing, and I'm finding all the info out there very confusing. I'd like to start with a free blogging service too, but everyone I talk to says, "Don't go the free route, you need to self host." I'd like to get my feet wet by experimenting with free content and free blogging just to get the feel for the mechanics of it all; sort of like "training wheels" if you will, before I invest time in researching and writing my own content or money in domains and hosting.
Blogger and Wordpress seem to be at the top of the list and I understand that with Wordpress I can self host. Did you start out with either of these?
