Black police officer at professor Gates home supports making arrest  

Thanking the good Lord he made people in all colors,sizes and even shapes.
Police officers all over the United State entrust their very life's 24-7 to their fellow officers and skin color don't make a hill of beans with these outstanding fine and very brave men.
It is my joy to know these two fine brothers of law are standing tall and together against racism that has raised it's dam ugly head since Barack Obama has taken office.
My hat is dam sure off to these two fine police officers that have the guts to do the right thing standing up for what is right in this country,What say you?

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – A black police officer who was at Henry Louis Gates Jr.'s home when the black Harvard scholar was arrested says he fully supports how his white fellow officer handled the situation.

Sgt. Leon Lashley says Gates was probably tired and surprised when Sgt. James Crowley demanded identification from him as officers investigated a report of a burglary. Lashley says Gates' reaction to Crowley was "a little bit stranger than it should have been."

Asked if Gates should have been arrested, Lashley said supported Crowley "100 percent."
