A typical day of opening my mouth

This was another one of those days. While we sat around the shed outside, peeling pears for canning, the thunder roared every now and then, letting us know it was still around. Lightening from time to time. My brother in law and i discussing the matter of whether we should even be out here in the lightening. Luckily, it slacked up some. Although, the conversation didn't. Between the three of us, my brother in law mentioned that we should have went to church this morning, which we didn't, not today. I brought up the subject of a recent Bible Study, and mentioned Paul. Well, being in a humorous mood, sister chides in, with "who". Of course, my mouth dropped open. We were raised up in the church. I immediately opened up, and begin saying who Paul was, and then realized that it was the excitement of seeing how quickly i could get rolling, that seemed to give her that little thrill. I guess it was a bit humorous, since normally, well most times, i will wait until asked, or invited to speak out right, on such matters.

Hi I think you story was amusing. Sometimes we miss the intend or the punchline someone was trying to express. Sunday was a nice day to sit and enjoy canning pears and "shotting the breeze" with family. As for as the weather, I living in Florida so I know how dangerous lightening can be. You were brave to stay outdoor.

Thanks for responding. I just wondered how many would actually respond to a story, a quiet afternoon, rather than being stressed, as so many appear to be on mylot, here lately.

I'm not seeing where this is related to Over the Hedge movie. Still that does sound interesting with the humourus who question that you ended up answering.

I think, that i may have been relating myself, to being over the hedge, by not paying attention enough, from the start. If i had been, then i would have caught the humorous tone in the original question.
