Sarah Palin received the rock star treatment on the Delaney Park Strip, if not quite as passionately as she did at the picnic the night before in her hometown of Wasilla. The crowd pressed forward to snap cell phone pictures of Alaska's celebrity governor and get her to sign something, anything. People presented Palin with books to sign, posters, crumpled wads of paper from their pockets.
"I hope to get to shake as many hands as possible and tell you from the bottom of my heart how much I thank you and love you and I say God bless Alaska, God bless America, thank you," she said.
Several in the crowd chanted "Sarah, Sarah, Sarah," as she finished. "You did a great job!" someone yelled. It was Palin's final Anchorage appearance as governor of Alaska. She'll resign today after the governor's picnic in Fairbanks, and Lt. Gov. Sean Parnell will take the rest of her term.

Sarah has one hell of a big following all across the United States and in Alaska.
Actually the left wing liberal mean sprinted bullies has grew Sarah base like crazy and that is a super good thing.
Sarah Pac got $700,000 the very first hours Sarah made the announce she was stepping down,her followers are dear to her heart and we all are 150% faithful to Sarah.
The real women in the United States not the plastic boobed and nose fake rich and elite bimbo's and not the jealous and bored over weight nagging house cat's but the real women of the country are behind Sarah.
My family from 13 to 65 both male and female guy's and doll's all 150% support Sarah.
With me if a women don't like Sarah Palin attacked her on her record not if she winks when she talks hell I do that myself and it just drives the men so wild.
I don't at all like Hillary Clinton never have and never will,she stands for everything I'm not but I do not run the women or her child down either,I do slam that slim ball she is married to and any women in her dam right mind would.
But our Sarah is a true star and she will do wonderful no matter what she dose if to stay home cuddled up to that good looking very sportive and loving man of hers.
But one thing for sure Sarah will remain very popular with the independents,conservatives,republicans pro-life,Christians and every day American young and old,guy's and dolls and she is simply the cream of the crop and that is why the left and die hard democrats just hate her.

| |  You haven't been to many rock concerts, have you, Rose...lol? I read the entire article you provided and it seems there were some people just there for the free food and some who were interviewed weren't such supporters. I'm not saying she doesn't have a lot of "fans" in Alaska, although I still have a problem with supposed government leaders being called "stars" and "celebrities". Anyway, much as I wish she would I know she's not about to "go away".
