what would you do if there were no cell phones???

My family and I sometimes joke about this topic. We use the cell phones a lot, but in the old days there were no cell phones and people still managed to still their lives We know that it is possible to live without cell phones, but now we are used to having and using the cell phones, so it would be hard to go back to that time. I know that I would really miss my phone if I couldn't call or send text messages to my relatives and my friends, because some of them live quite far away from me, so we can't just meet in town and chat.

Yes, actually I've gone a few months without using my cellphone. I acidentally locked it and can't be bothered calling the phone company and getting them to unlock it. At first I thought I'd just wait a few days to call them and slowly days have turned into months.

Cellphones definetly make it easier to communicate with family and friends. Infact mine are all hassling me to get my phone fixed. Without my cellphone I just tend to use facebook private message to arrange meeting my friends and family. However my cellphone would be more convienient.

Also I have to say its kind of nice being able to live life without worrying about constantly replying to text messages ect..

In the old days my friend. There is no cell phones and other gadgets. But people live normally, they are not going to be crazy.

i think if don't have cell phone just to live normal. There's nothing to be left if your going live that way(no cell phone)

If there were no such things as cell phones, well, I would just go back to using a land line. I gave the land line up, as I was getting way to many calls on it that I didn't want, so I figured just by using my cell phone, I wouldn't get them. I was bothered by the telemarketers a lot with my land line. With a cell phone, they can't really do that as much as they don't know what the cell phone numbers would be, as the sevice providers don't give out that information, and that I like. There needs to be some privacy with the cell phones. I do need my cll phone, to kep in touch with my kids as I do have to check in with them from time to time to let them know I am okay. I don't use my Mobile Phones that often anymore. i always loose or drained my battery when ever that happens. i would only use it if am gonna have to text or call my family. but actually, life was not a simpler and the World was a lot stranger and bigger knowing that it's hard to get to know other people then. we can still have phones and internet to use in communicating with other people across the globe.
