Have you discovered a neat customer service and started using it only to have |
| |
| the company discontinue it no matter how long the service has been in use? The last one was the company I was allowed to pay my bill over the phone using a credit card started charging 2.00 dollars for the same service I had been able to use only once before. I found a casserole at Wal-Mart. Had started buying it a lot only to have them discontinue it. My wife used to complain about Avon doing that. Of course Avons replacement was always suppose to be better but my wife didn't think so. | | | | | |

| | Yes, unfortunately this happens to me quite often.. Especially with grocery items. Always seems like you just found something you like, then they go an get rid of it, to replace it with some new line of items coming out, or even, as in your wife's case, a new, supposedly improved version, which just isn't the same and often not as good as what you were buying before. Unfortunately in todays world, where there are always ways to make things biger and better, and there is a need to constantly be instroducing new products...something has to go to make room for it. As much as this sucks, i just wanna ask people one favor though. As i work in the grocery store, i hear these kind of complaints all the time, and though i comiserate with you, we generally don't have the option of bringing the product back. Many times the product is not even being made by the company, but even if it is, often times it is above our heads at store level to get it back in the warehouse, so we can have it at our store. The best thing to do is to fill out a card. At my store at least, these get sent to our corporate office regularly, and they look them over. If they get enough people saying they want a product back, it will often re-appear in our warehouse and become availiable for us to order again. Just don't take it out on us personally...unfortunately i don't get to choose what items my store carries. | | | | | | |

| | I think the last item to be removed that we are unhappy about is that Subways. They took the carrots out. For awhile it was spinach but that was because of Ecoli. | | | |

| | Sometimes they do but being so far from WalMart or other big stores like that we usually don't see the item is going to be discontinued until it is too late. | | | |

| | Maybe if we do what the clerk above said it might help. Enough people complain and they might return the item. | | | |
