Well I think this kind of jealousy does not need to be here in this forum. It is an ungodly jealousy by certain individual that are just plain being mean to others that have made a connection with each other. I think this is veryy childish to say the least....Lori

People I care a lot about are getting attacked here & they do NOT deserve this kind o treatment. Why do people have to be so childish? I have greeeat solace that these individuals that found each other are much greater than they think they are. They found LOVE on MyLot, I think that is so totally awesome, I get chills everytime I think of them being together. There is NO reason to act childish......Lori

I'm a cancer too, so I know all too well about the feelings and emotions lol. I learned how to control them well too, but sometimes they rage, especialy when I see people I care about get hurt or I see unfairness. I can't stand unfairness.

It's only been in recent years that I've been able to hold my tongue whenever someone says anything that insults me. Before then, oohhh, look out. I'd get all bent out of shape if someone even looked at me the wrong way or even appeared to be talking about me. It's a lot better now, though...I've learned not to take things so personally.

As far as jealousy goes? I've learned to temper that by thinking that by saying that another person is blessed to be able to have whatever he or she has, and that I should be thankful that I have what I have, because it could be much worse.

You know what? I think it is a GREAT thing for people to find love, no matter how it happens. I also don't get the idea that it's somehow a good thing to tromp on someone's happiness just because you're bitter and disgruntled lol.

Apparently if you are happy all the time, people who are UNHAPPY dislike you and biitch to their friends about it because no matter what they say, they never appear to get you down or prevent you from getting the things you want. Well... I can say from having been that 'dumbass happy individual' that I don't feel it's fair for others to dislike me because I'm happy! Some days I don't feel like being happy. But I pretend to be. You know why? Eventually I can trick myself into being happy and my day improves. Like right now I am trying to convince myself to go to the gym. I really do not WANT to go. But I know if I go that I will feel better later and be glad I went.

Also, sometimes crap people say DOES get me down. I'm not going to tell the person who caused it though. I think it shows strength of character to not allow others opinions or actions to tarnish your own view of yourself and to make you feel low or hit your self esteem and confidence.

I agree too that you don't find anybody when you're looking, or on the prowl. I wasn't looking at all when I met my husband. In fact there was nothing romantic about us for awhile.

I also agree about the fact that I could rage out of control too.... keeping control of yourself takes a LOT more than losing it. People that lose it regularly don't realize how they appear to others. This isn't to say I never lose it, there are situations where it actually gives me an edge, and so I will let go when it suits the situation or control it when it would be too hazardous. Just as we make our attributes work best for us, so should we make our 'faults' work for us

My youngest granddaughter is a cancer, is she going to be like that too?

Well they sure are not acting their age, possibly they are acting their IQ wich is probably somewhat under their age. . I still have no idea who this is about, who is jealous and who is the happy couple! Oh well much happiness to the couple and mr OZ might have a heart and a brain for you if you just click your red slippers together.

I think everybody does the same. Except for the same species as that creature.

Jealousy can be USED as a positive thing in order to make someone motivated to work harder OR accomplish something - it can be the spark lit under you, for example. However, everything else about jealousy is stupid. More or less, whatever you are jealous of isn't really worth being jealous of, and the person who has what you want may have worked INTERMINABLY HARD for whatever they have, or they may have been broken or dragged through hell first. I see some of my blessings at least as rewards for those three things I just mentioned. I'd gladly help someone out or show them how to accomplish it too, but I would never give what I have away... lol.

I really can't see any reason to be jealous here in mylot. People get their star blue or red star because they give their serious thought in giving their response. Not just a response to make a number. And if we want that too, just do what they have done. People will love to give a + rating if our response is a good one.

I don't have anything or do anything for anyone to be jealous. .I am a homemaker who's been married 18 years..no kids..nothing exciting about that at all.

I have got to agree with you on every point you make here. This is NOT the place for pettty jealousy. We have a great community here with a lot of gooe members. But when I see them NOt coming back because they keep getting attacked just because that person is a jealous person,{of someone they don't even know!} That's what really gets my dander up..
