I'm Going Crazy Without My Watch!!!

Hello, danish. Yeah...it's kind of overwhelming, just like some people get access to internet everyday and all of the suddent, they can't use internet.
I have watch for a long time, but I always forget to wear it cuz I also have a mobile phone. My friends said, we've already have mobile, why you still need watch? I said I just like wearing a watch.
And I think this kind of feeling is like I've already wear a lense contact but still keep on finding my glasses.

For that I got a bunch of them.
Once the band of my watch broke.

I really felt strange when I looked at my right hand and nothing was there.

But else I always wear a watch.

I don't wear a watch. I just constantly ask my husband for the time LOL I'm sure that it would be awful to not have something you are use to.

I usually wear mine as an accessory because my car has a clock in it, the bank tells me what time it is and everywhere I go there is a clock with a different time on it. I did go without a watch while I was camping and I wondered what time it was a few times but when my stomach growled I knew it was time to eat.

LOL I am just visualizing you trying to see what time it is, looking at your wrist and nothing is there.
I guess that after developing my allergy I learned no to worry about time too much. Actually already before it I had a pretty laid back sense of time.
Don't get me wrong. I am responsible and if it's a matter of an appointment or work I am on time. But once I am home during the holidays I immediately get into "no time" mode. I have no idea of what time it is most of the time, and I like it. I feel that I should control what I do and when, not the clock/watch.
Of course when I return to school I am back to needing to know, at least when it's time to start.But that's work, and working in a school what I have more is clocks on the walls LOL
I've noticed that there are somethings - like meals, time hubby comes from work, waking up, etc that are automatic, I tend to know when it's time without having the need to look at what time it is.
But other than that I feel pretty good and quite free not knowing the exact time.
So, just relax.... enjoy time and soon you'll have your new watch:)

I've done that before and I hate when it happens! Looking at my arm and someone seeing me do it is kind of an odd but funny feeling. I did the same things when I went from glasses to contact lenses....kept trying to push up my glasses that weren't there! And of course, everyone that seen me do it would start laughing.

I don't wear a watch anymore, but used to when I was in my teens. It probably ended sometime in my 20's, though heck if I can remember! It's not like I keep tabs on this sort of thing! LOL Even though it's been a few years since I've worn one I still catch myself looking at my wrist every now and again for one, though it is rare. Talk about old habits dying hard!

I have to ask, why didn't you just buy a battery for your old watch? Unless it died some unfortunate death making it beyond repairable?

It true, even I do the same. I constantly used my watch bcoz I have a time table to follow expecially at work. If I didn't wear my watch there was a time I look at wrist to look at the time but suddently I realiz that it was not there. I wonder where I left it or do I drop my watch. But I always i set my timer in my cellphone so even I left my watch at home I still have one in pocket.

I have forgotten my watch at home twice.I was lost. I couldn't function. I got to work and had to use the clocks. The problem,each had a different time.I had to guess when the buses were coming.It was a mess.

hi Danishcanadian I know you have a great new watch by the time you read that post of mine. I am one of these few people who hate watches and will go crazy with a watch and not without a watch.
But I see it with my husband. When his watch was out of order and had to be repaired he always wanted to check the time and couldnt...... lol.
