Would you mind or ever thought of being a "house husband"?

Well, we know that women have been homemakers or housewives, but have you ever thought of men doing the job of a homemaker? I have read of men who opt to stay home, look after their kids, do the laundry etc. while their wives be the breadwinner of the household. I find this to be a really interesting change. I once told my wife that I'd prefer to stay home and do the chores while she continues working. I can't remember what her reply was, so obviously it wasn't significant.
However, when I thought hard about it, I doubt I'm able to do that because there are just too many bills to pay and other payments and purchases to make monthly; it's so bad that we hardly have time & spare money to travel and have a good break. So I guess my "dream" has to be put on hold.
What about the rest of you men? Ever thought about this? :)

I would be happy to stay at home if it helped out, obviously with the internet as it is now I would assume it's possible to work from home and therefore still bring in 2 incomes whilst also looking after the house and children etc.
I personally wouldn't mind if my partner had a much higher earning job than myself. Fair play to her lol. I'm sure you will get to your dream soon mate! :)

Ya, I was thinking about this, and also had discussions with my wife. We agree that the role that is part of the culture and destiny, which can cause many problems if changed.
But I happy to help my wife to do household chores, such as tidy up the bed, clean rooms, clean toilets, wash dishes, etc..
