What are those star stands for in some of the mylot members...  | |  Im sorry if i ask this, but im just new here... at first i wonder my my lot give credit or money only by participating discussion or etc without even promoting product or something... or maybe there is but i dont know yet as i just saw my profile that i earned some dollar cents..
I just want to ask what are those star in some of the member stands for... with those corresponding numbers and in different colors.. and how mylot take revenue from it memeber since they giving out money... just curious coz i dont think someone will give u money for nothing. right?

Mylot earns revenue from the huge amount of rapidly changing advertisements that you see here. Since, mylot pays you so that it may become more popular, this publicity attracts more advertisements here.
Now, that star pertains to your mylot reputation, that is how good you are performing on mylot. If you point your mouse pointer on that star, you will see the person`s mylot reputation in terms of points out of 100. It does not affect your earning here, rather, it is a direct indication of how much you are earning here. Your mylot reputation and earnings don`t increase just by posting responses or discussions, you get good earnings for your good responses to discussions, i.e. if somebody comments your response, or rates your response positive, or your comment on others` responses to your discussions or your response is marked as best. So, respond actively and seriously, and comment on others` responses also.
That number in the star is also the mylot reputation. It is the mylot reputation points (out of hundred) shown in one digit i.e. rounding oof the points to nearest ten and then dividing by 10. Suppose, your mylot reputation is 88 out of hundred, your number in the star will be 9 (88~90, 90/10=9). Also, the color of the star indicates this digit also. E.g. if the digit in the star is 10, its color will be green.
By the way, you will also get a star by the time you reach your hundred posts.
So, discuss actively and seriously, not just for money, and earn more. Happy Mylotting!!
