Night life in Las Vegas | | I am taking my friend from Denmark to Las Vegas. It is his first time going and my second time. The first time I slept at night instead of enjoying the nightlife of Vegas. I was wondering if anyone had any great suggestions on places and things to do at night. The things you just dont want to miss.

I have to admit, it's been a few years since I've been there, but there is absolutely Everything to do there! 24-7. I loved Circus, Circus. If you like to go the the circus, it's something you can't miss. There are always big name performers there too. Just depends on what you want to do. Things to do at night???? lol. Like I said before, it's ALL 24-7 there. Plan to NOT sleep! Are you going to be gambling? There are lots of added benefits in the casinos too.....free food, drinks. Here's the official Vegas tourist website:

You'll find lots of great stuff there. Have a great trip!

During the day, Mirage has the dolphin park, Flamingo actually has some flamingos and other water birds in a little park you can walk through, Mandalay Bay has their wave pool. The Luxor pyramid, the Paris Eiffel Tower and Venetian gondolas are also kinda neat - touristy but neat. For nightclubs, try Pure in Caesars and the Hard Rock (both tend to get celebrities). The club at Wynn is good too. Also the Rio (which is off the strip a bit but close by).
Also, in general, just check out the huge shopping areas - Caesar's Forum Shops, the Palazzo and Venetian shops - good restaurants and people watching.
Away from the strip, you can go downtown to the older, local casinos and see the Fremont Street Experience, a covered walkway light show. As for any more adult entertainment - you're on your own.

| | 3. Crestview (230) | 3 months ago | As much as you like to take everything in, you probably don't have enough time nor the money to do that. you probably just have to pick a few things and planning on going back.
Of course there are all the free stuff like the light show at Fremont street, Atlantis at Caesar Palace, Pirate show at TI, Fountain at Bellagio.
If you can afford a show, "O" at Bellagio is great, you may want to make reservation before you get there, otherwise you can take your chance with cancellation before the show, they have a wait line prior to each show.
All the big hotels have a trendy club that cost $10-$20 to get in, you may get some preferential treatment if you are a hotel guest, otherwise you may have to stand in line to boot, especially on a weekend night. Drinks aren't cheap either, but then if your friend is coming all the way from Denmark, show him/her a good time.

Crestview (230) | 3 months ago | If you haven't book your lodging yet, try Plant Hollywood and ask for the Fountain View Room, you will pay a little extra, but you get the same view without paying the outrageous fountain view room at the Bellagio. I uploaded a picture of the view from our room, check it out.
Again, have fun if you do go. Send me a consultation fee if you win big at the table.

| | 5. Apple3Cranberry (604) | 4 weeks ago | Las Vegas is really cool. I've been there a couple of times. It is very loud. Very colorful. Very clamorous. Also, it has neat hotels. The hotels are cool. The shows are cool too. The shows are always neat. Like you can go see impersonators, or a show of impersonators. I'm not too much for the night life. I have never gone out there, and don't think I would like to. I am not this type of person. Also, I dislike nightlife. I am open to having fun however, and find this necessary. Perhaps someday I will go out and dance, or talk with people. It's probably good you slept at night, you get a whole different perspective of life in Vegas, sleeping at night there! He is going on a very long trip! To Las Vegas. It is amazing that people come from all over the world to see this place. It is a landmark.
