Is Abortion Wrong?

Yes, I it is, a baby growing inside a mother's womb is alive and abortion is the process where you stop it from growing thus killing it, and a mother who consented to killing her unborn child is committing parricide. I can't help but think how someone could do such a thing, babies are blessing from God and who wouldn't want to be blessed. If that person thinks she can't raise a child, why did she consented to making one in the beginning. And now, there are so many institutions where they would take care of children whose parents are not capable of taking care of them.
It is a mortal sin to kill, even if it's not born yet, the fact that it's heart is beating means that it is alive... I really hate those doctors who abort unborn children and i hope the fate of those children they stopped from living wont happen to those they love.... Smile, mai

i think its a wrong no no its a sin, it is same as to murder a baby .i donot think its a good or right kind of work to save ourselves from the mistakes that have done in the past days ..

I do believe that abortion is wrong. I am not a theist, but a believer in science and technology. However, there are still spirits beyond science: responsibility and morality. The child in mother's womb is innocent and should not undertake responsibility that his parents deserve. Unless they are planning to have a baby, preventative measures should be taken.

It is a really a good discussion. I am not sure if it is right or wrong. What i think about is that we must do more preparation to avoid any unexpected conception. We should be fully educated of the contraceptive measures. Then we can not make this difficult decision. Do you agree with it?

I strongly think that it is wrong, unless its under extreme circumstances, its completely wrong because you are killing a living being that is completely defenseless and its just horrible, i dont know how anyone could live with themselves knowing that they killed a living being

I am against abortion. It is a really touchy subject with lots of points to consider though. I think an baotrion would be ok if the mother was raped or if the baby did not have achance...but then again there are so many kids that are abused, maybe,but i dont think that either. i think it is murder, and if you dont want a child, you know how to prevent it before you start.

well many people want to abort a baby if she feel not ready to be a mother but 4 me its not a good... for me abortion is wrong....its a live so why we kill....

Some abortion is wrong and some is right, i think. One of my friends carried a baby for a few months when the doctor found out that the baby is having big problem in its heart . The baby will need operation when he is born and even operation can't gurantee his health in the future . My friend just no other choice but to do abortion although she is very sad . i think this situation can be allowed.

Some people don't have religion, sunstar. That is their right. I believe it is a personal choice. Even before it was legal, it was being done by crackhead doctors in unsanitary conditions. I don't feel it is my right to judge another person for such a difficult and personal decision. I was one of those so called 1% that got pregnant on birth control. For me, I chose to keep my babies and I have no regrets. I know that for most women (not all) that it is a very, very difficult choice. The bible also tells us not to judge.
