Ladies - what was your first pair of "grown up" shoes? | | The first pair of shoes I begged my Dad to buy me were, I now realise, absolutely hideous. I was 13 years old, we were on holiday and went into a shoe shop which had a sale on. My Dad agreed to buy the shoes I wanted, as long as I got the more sensible shoes my Mum wanted me to have.
My shoes of choice were 6 inch stilettos, with 2 cheap, nasty plastic straps across the front, in a see-through black and white leopard print. Very trashy, not suitable for a girl of 13, and I don't think anybody else with taste would have worn them. I wore them as much as I could, until the heel fell off one of them. My Mum was quite relieved to ber able to throw them away!
What about you?
