1.  JoyfulOne (4240) | 5 months ago |  One of my favorite free spyware detectors would be Malwarebytes, which is an anti-malware scanner. I also use the free Ad-aware sometimes, or the Spybot Search and Destroy. One thing I've found with using those two...whatever Ad-aware doesn't find, Spybot does. And the Malwarebytes is great, I run that once a week as a routine, and anything I download goes through there first before opening. I've really been happy using these, it keeps my computer humming good and keeps the junk out.

| JoyfulOne (4240) | 5 months ago | Actually, I run all three of them, just not at the same time. I run one, let it do it's thing, then load the next, etc. They're all good, but they each seem to pick up different things and get rid of them. I find I get a whole lot of adware because I'm on the internet so much. I know lots of people only run one, or two of them, but I find with routine scanning weekly with all three, my computer is fast, and not clogged up with adware to slow it down. I also have a program (free) installed called EasyCleaner. Once I'm done running the other programs, I pull up EasyCleaner and get rid of all those temp files, and unnecessary things, like cookies, etc. I designated Sunday as my 'clean-up' day, and I haven't had a virus or malware problem in all the years since I've been doing it this way. (Before that it was constant problems!) Good luck 127! | |

His choices are good and I have tried all 3 of these softwares myself.
My favourite is Malwarebytes'.It is the best.It has found spyware and malware nothing else has.I have been using it for a long time now.Last week I bought a new netbook and I have installed it on my netbook too.:)

| 2. amitavroy (3931) | 5 months ago |  well there are quite a few good spyware detectors over the internet but i think spy doctor is the best of the lot. i have used it for a year and i found it very good. yes the only thing is that i found it a bit heavy on my system and so then i changed to using ESSET NOD 32 and then i also i neer faced spyware problems.

| 6. killersss (561) | 3 months ago |  hey hi, i think the best spy ware detector rite now is the avg fee edition, it will keep a regular check of any virus that your computer will have and will delete it directly. i have this detector since i newely bought my computer and it is working really well, i have never installed by windows again because of virus since then.

If it doesnt work, try malwarebytes. its my favorite program. If still doesnt works, You should use any anti-virus software like norton, Eset, AVG etc. This should do the trick
