I'm not an expert by any sense of the word but your dream sounds like you are finally finding your way to happiness. Singing makes you happy and I think you are searching for that happiness in some place where you can sing and dance. This is great that you can remember such details. Some have very specific meanings and others may not. I know that somethings have completely different meanings than what they appear to be. Maybe the little ones somehow reresent your husband. That need in you to stay because he has an illness and needs help but your quest is to seek outsomething more important. Something you have put off for way too long already. There is no turning back now. As you always say....Just sayin.

All I can say is that you are happy caring loving soul and you feel so much for people who have less or nothing, but you know you wish you can do something for them but can't, you have a big heart and a lot of love. Hugs.

Were the children in your dream girls or boys?
I just wanted to know.
I hear most women dream in a vivid way and in color.

I'm not to good at dream interpretations,But maybe see if James will take a gander at it with his eight ball thingamajigger.

Whew, that was a vivid dream and I can identify all kinds of things that my dream interpreting friends would find significant. However, I am more like Ebeneezer Scrooge. I believe that our dreams have more to do with what's on our mind when we are awake and what we had for dinner. It's probably your subconscious trying to work out the decisions you are facing right now.

Every once in a while I dream vividly, but not all that often. I think my sleep cycle is all messed up and I don't often get into a deep enough sleep where I have undisturbed vivid dreams. The part in this one with the children sounds pretty heartbreaking though. Maybe your subconscious is worried about how your son is going to handle things?

I'm going to be serious on this one because that's what counts when it comes to dreams like this and your current situation. OK, you ready?

Firstly, the darker colours you're wearing are possibly representational of your concerns about being selfish. You're happy and determined outwardly, but there's that nagging feeling deep down. These feelings are toally unwarranted, but they're there. The extra clothing (dressed for cooler weather you said) is a kind of armour. Outwardly you're determined, carefree and strong, yet inwardly you still feel a desire to protect yourself in any way you can.

The scared boy with bravado is in essence a mirror image of yourself. He's trying to be cool, tough and strong in the eyes of others, but the fear is there. The name you gave him is a possible insecurity that's related to wondering whether or not your "struggles" are seen by others as struggles at all; or do they think you're making more noise than needed? He didn't stay with you as you continued on though, so I don't think these feelings are that prominent.

The different songs you keep hearing and then following are the multitudes of advice and opinions that you've been hearing and sometimes heeding. The fact that you eventually turn your back on these songs and continued to the bus stop is a subbliminal acknowledgement that regardless of what others have to say, it's ultimately YOU that has to make a decision and take the steps needed. The children may represent your fears for your Son and how this entire situation might affect him. They're wrapped up in blankets, so they ARE safe and warm, but the fear is possibly related to concerns about always being conscious of your child's needs while ensuring your own are met. There may also be a fear of having to be separated for any period of time while you're sorting things out.

You didn't actually get on the bus or reach the bus stop quite yet, but it was there in the distance. There was no bus in sight yet either. This could mean that you know the destination you crave is in sight, but there's a little ways to go in terms of loose ends that you need to tie up first. (Hence the other stuff) The lack of a bus too may also mean that your final destination and way of reaching it is still somewhat undefined and an open book at this point.

Ok. I've certainly crapped on and I apologise in advance if I've been too forthright here, but this is my take on it all!

I envy you. I haven't remember dreams for many years. I have been in a couple of car accidents where I was hit on the eye and suffered cuts [both times, exactly same place]on my right eyebrow. I wonder if these are behind the reason I can't remember them. Sure you can learn to be more attentive in every day life. And if you keep a notebook or journal close by where you sleep you can write down your impressions immediately. I think you have a gift.
