Is A Cellphone All You Really Need?

I know we don't need long distance on our home phone anymore cause it's free on the cellphone. I do still need some way to get on the computer from home, cause it would be awful hard to type my articles and stories up on a little cellphone...lol. It does pretty much have everything else though these days.

well..i dont use ma phone for any of the uses u mentioned simply because my cell doesnt have those features.so i am comfortable with a set that just allows me to speak n text.though it has fm,mp3 player,cam.bluetooth etc they are jus useless since my col has banned them...
so i dont carry cell phones to coll...this means 1/3rd of the day im off ma cell...so cell phone is not an important asset in my life

I don't use most of the features you mentioed, as I don't have the data plan on my phome. I didn't think I needed it, so I didn't get a phone where I have to have the data plan. However, I did at one time, and it is nice to have the internet on the go, email and other things. Cells are geeting much better now, and they have more features than a person would really need, but they are there just in case. Mine does have a music player on it and I do use it from time to time. I hope to change cell phones eventually and get more features, as the cell phone is the only phone I have as I got rid of my land line. Have a great day, and happy mylotting.

It is pretty much all I need as fire as wireless devices. I have a smartphone that does many things. I dont have a house phone, havent had one in years. I do need a computer at the house because it is just more convenient but my phone can do it all when I am on the go it is great.

Well you can surely say like that a cellphone is almost all people really need . Just 10 years ago it was hard to imgine that the cellphones could do so much things now. i still remembered when i graduated 9 years ago cellphones are not so common at all and everyone just carries a call machine . Just a year later it seemed that everyone had one cellphone . Nowadays even primary school students will have a cellphone.

Cellphones can do all those things, but they're not always easy to use. For instance, I couldn't type this as fast as I am, on a cellphone. To get those kinds of services is pretty expensive through a cellphone, too. A traditional computer can do all of that, but not as easy to carry around with you.

One of these days they'll get it all together and we'll each have our own communications device that includes internet, phone and TV: Video, audio, text and everything easily accessible for a decent price.

The cellphone is quite important for me today. Besides contacting with others, it also gives me entertainment. I often watch movies and listen to books by my cellphone. If I don't have it, I will feel bored when I am waiting.

thats gadget ... with cellphone you can all make it. Unfortunately, with all technology in cellphone, somebody have a cellphone, just use it for short message service and accept call.lol

I cant live without my cellphone asI have said in some discussion earlier too. It is a mandatory accessory. Everything is controlled by the cellphone nowadays. You can just get in touch with the whole world via the cell. We need these and people too. Hope we do not use the cell to replace people.

i agree that now a days its the most needed thing and you will found 9 out of 10 guys are using mobile phone just because as you said we can make call, we can play games,can mail,can chat and there are so many things can be done with this small but a smart gadget.........and cellphones are becoming more and more popular and also the technology is growing very fast so we can expect some more features that we cant think of.......
