How Many Is To Many?  | |  I saw on Peoples Court the other a day a coupel who had 100 cats in an aprtment and they took all of them away, charged the couple with 100 counts of animal cruelty. I was watching CNN earlier, and saw a woman they said had over 200 cats, including dead ones in the freezer. However, after investigation, the woman did not receive any charges and was able to keep all of the cats. So I wonder what you think about this? Should there be a limit of animals one can have? Why was one person charged, but not the other. Do you think it is odd to freeze your dead cats?

You need to have enough space for the animals to be comfortable, you have to be able to feed them all properly and keep the place clean... there are a lot of factors that go into whether or not you can take care of an animal properly, so I don't think there is any set number that is too many.
As for freezing dead cats... it's a little eccentric, but it doesn't hurt anything.

Some people are animal hoarders and think they can take care of huge amounts of cats or other animals. They of course can't and that is one way they get in trouble with the law! Other people are hoarders that have mental problems. That probaly explains the woman who the cat carresses in the freezer and this is why she was able to keep her live cats! All this hoarders are thinking they are doing good but in reality they are doing more harm then good.
