good ideas for stories are those that are close to the writer's heart. it is as if the story were haunting him/her to be told. there is a strong force that keeps on whispering to the writer's sleep that motivates him/her to start scribbling and typing those words away, giving flesh to the stories one by one, pieces by pieces, scenes after scenes. good ideas should make sense to the writer first, before they make sense to the readers. goodluck. i shall wait for your stories here.

I feel if you are going to write a story, i needs to be about something for which you have a passion, or at lest a lot of knowledge. I think you would be better off to give us some ideas you have been kicking around for a story, and asking for ideas or suggestions to add on and make it more interesting.

But if you really have no imagination or ideas of your own, how about a story about zombie babies taking over the earth? i dunno...

Well, Shades48, the idea of mylot 308369666 could be used for a futuristic fiction. Try to web something that is not scientific but it is included in the futuristic genre and in the end, Peace.

Or just look around you, a trash can, a hungry child swallowing his/her saliva watching somebody eating humburger at a mcdonald chain, a woman walking in the rain in an avenue where all people have cars...just start a story. Write in white heat. If you could do it, start a paragraph or two, then I will add some. How about collaborative writing?

Hummm... Good Story Ideas. Well it depends. If you like Fiction write something about people with secret powers or and under world community. SciFi??? Then How about a Mission to Jupiter in the year 6000 or Time Travel. Horror: How about a story about the end of the world(people like those stories).... Love: well write about your own experiences and express them threw your characters. Have fun with it and I hope these are some interesting Ideas:D

Ideas for story writing? I think you are missing the point here for the story. You don't try to search for ideas but ideas search you, and then you start typing, go on & on... think about story characters, and thinking like story character, and your story continues.. you feel like story shouldn't ends, keep going along, and then story it self finds some end. And you put full stop to the story. And write your name under the story claiming to be yours, but in real this story want you to be claimed.
