Hello..here in my state. we hindus were observing a holimonth. we worshipped lord shiva every monday for 4 mondays. today is the last..many observe fasting on the mondays..many male devotees of lord shiva don't shave or cut their hair for the entire month..
It is believed.. they get blessings from lord shiva..
It is the faith that works, what is your view?
Any such festival at your place?

hi arun,
we have holy week. it is during the month of april when we commemorate the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. we observe fasting for the whole week and go to church to ask forgiveness of sins. this is somewhat a sad week. cry but on the last day, sunday, everybody celebrates because it is the day of His being reborn. thumbup
