Do you crush the straw after you drink juices?

I always crush the straw after i drink juices, to prevent spillage and dirty waste, to have a clean town.

ya sometimes i do because some stores tried to used them again... yucky i guess. so i try to crushed them and bend them to make them out of shape. sometimes plastic cups are used again when its still in perfect shape...

I have never heard of that, crushing a straw. But if someone is being cheap, unsanitary and downright nasty by collecting used straws and re-using them, then UGH, I wouldn't even go back. I know individually wrapped straws are more paper being used from the earth, but at least I know it isn't re-used.

Yeah deebak, such similar situation do happen in my place every now and then. To prevent the owner of the stalls to reuse the old straw again, we usually will crush the the used straw for sure. It's not hygienic to reuse the old straw again. Just imagine how disgusting and terrible if the stall vendor uses the unwashed thoroughly used straw to serve his customer. This will spread germs for sure and it's not good for our health. My husband feels reluctant to use any straw if eating out. He does advise us not to use any
