Have you thanked anyone? |
|
Hi,
I have the habit of saying thanks to everyone even if it is their duty for helping me or i gave money for their duties. I think it is a good way to encourage them all by saying thank you.
What about you? Have you ever said thank you for the one served you in hotels? Have you thanked any one who tell you that your zip is open?(Hey don't laugh... he is helping you from the embarrasement from others.. You should thank him..) Have you ever say thank you for your mom,dad and sisters for their little help? Do you thank your teachers for clarifying your doubts?
Share your comments friends. Happy lotting.

When you thank someone, you show your gratitude. Even if you have to pay someone for a job, you still need to thank that person for his time and effort to get it done for you. I thank everyone who has helped me regardless of whether it's voluntary work or paid.

I always say thank you and also sorry whenever it is due. I think that it's important because it just show that you appreciate it when people show that they care and it is also inspiring and would make the people who helped you feel good and when they like what they felt, most likely, they will continue helping other people too.

deebak (388) | 4 months ago | Hi nanayangel,
That's a good habit to say thank you and sorry too. Saying sorry at the right time prevent many misunderstandings and saying thank you at right time encourage others from continuing their good work. Thank you for spending some time here in responding.

3. Iriene88 (1176) | 4 months ago | Dear deebak,
A very good topic and I love it! That's why I started the topic previously about learning to say 'Thank You' in other languages...so that we can use them when we visited the respective countries... People can feel the 'sincerity from the hearts' as you go an extra mile to learn to say it in their national language!
Telling 'thank you' to someone who has rendered a service to you no matter paid or not....is a good practice...is shows we appreciate it, we acknowledge it, it is a way for us to show gratitude...this will truly encourage the person to do their best in the future, it will give a smile on their face...smile is contageous, then the smile will go around & back to you. It's a fulfilment to be able to make someone happy..make their day a memorable one!
Learn from children, when they say 'Thank You' they really mean it from their heart..its sincerity and genuine can be felt!
My son will tell me 'Thank you, Thank You' with joy ..as if I gave the Moon to him, or I make him strike a Million Dollars!, actually I just fried his favourite nuggets, or cook a bowl of his favourite instant noodle...but the words 'Thank you' was said with sparkling in his eyes...will make me felt appreciated...SO, you know-lah..I will always prepare one of his favourite dishes for him during meal time...therefore, learn from the children!
I am so happy that you are one of the polite person with the RIGHT attitude who always shows your gratitiude with a big THANK YOU! Excellent...Keep it Up and Make this world a Happier Place!
All the best and do keep in touch! You have improved very much in your comments to the responses you received on your topic. Good Job!

4. michmich2 (304) | 4 months ago | I couldn't agree with you more! I always thank people - regardless of whether they go out of their way to do something helpful or if they are just doing their job. I think saying thank you is very important. It makes people feel good and lets them know that you appreciate them and what they're doing. I think people should say thank you any chance they get!

8. astonysh (1824) | 4 months ago | My modest, working-class parents taught me to do this out of common courtesy.
That said, I will not use the phrase if it is not deserved, or will use it sarcastically at times (when someone does not hold a door for me and it comes flying into my face for example).
I used to be a teacher in England in the 1970s. It is amazing how many kids had never been taught to use the phrases "thank you" and "please". By the time I had finished teaching them, they had to know the phrases though, otherwise I would not let them leave the classroom.

deebak (388) | 4 months ago | Hi astonysh,
Well, teaching is my most respected profession which you may find it in the another discussion. The teachers are those who lead the children to have such phrases. Even some childrens may not listen to parents but listen to teachers. Keep up your good work. Thanks for enlightening the lights for future of many childrens. Happy lotting.
