Do you remember DOS commands?

i don't remember any DOS commands anymore, that was quiet a long time back!
maybe just this one cd:/ lol and i am not even sure about it, it was something like that and i can not recall...haha

Yeah. I'm glad that I knew or I could say that I master the DOS commands a decade ago. I still used DOS commands to troubleshoot computers, mostly if Windows is corrupted.. But anyway, there's a big difference now with the present DOS commands.. Some are gone mostly those system files and some syntax on dir..

Yes i'm still remember, even for dos 6.22 :) i guess until now we still using dos command in windows. And i still remember utility for dos like norton utility and midnight commander.

I still used DOS command but I only remember a few important command. When troubleshooting a network problem or setting up a network command like ping and ipconfig are really useful. I think its faster than using a GUI utilities. I'm not saying that GUI is bad but the command is a built in program and you can use it straight away without installing any third party utilities. But when using Linux I always prefer command line over GUI.

well yes i very well remember the dos commands. actually i use them even now when required. like soemtimes when my OS gets corrupted, that time we have to use a lot of DOS commands to get things in working order and so i think they are the basic things that every one in computer field should know. they are must.

I remember the language, I remember when it was more popular but I don't remember any of the commands. I also remember doing Lotus and Word Star, but I don't remember any of the commands. I do actually remember some of Lotus, because some of the same commands still work on Excel. But there have been many different word processing, programs ans well as computer programing languages that have come and gone over the years. Everything so much easier now.

I can still remember dir, cd, rd, md, label, path, tree, del, ren, copy. They are still essential to me when times of bugs and viruses attacked my pc. I love to use it until now when trouble starts.
