Why don't you have the latest cellphone?

I have NO trouble with the phone I have now, even though it is over two years old. I see no point is changing it as long as it does what I need it to do. I only use it to make an occasional call or to send a text message, so it works well for me. I do not use it to send emails or access the Internet, so I have no use for the latest gadget. A salesman may try to tell me otherwise, though, because they want to earn a commission, or they want me to get a new phone, which will likely lock me into another service agreement with the company. As long as my phone works, I will use it...

I always keep what works best for me, based on my needs. A cell phone salesman is going to try to get you to buy one just for his own pocket, not mine or yours!
I'd just say I like what I have and don't really think I need a new one just yet.
As long as it ain't broke, don't fix it.

My phone is about a year old, which i know isn't very old, but would still be considered "out-dated" in the ever changing technoloical society we live in now. to tell you the truth, the only reason my phone is even THAT new is because my contract was up, and when i renewed i got a really good deal on a new phone, and decided to finaly upgrade from my basic model to one with a camera and full keyboard, as it only cost me 20 or 30 dollars to do so. I won't be looking to upgrade again until my two year contract is up, and i can get another good eal.

I don't see how people can afford to constantly be upgrading their cellphones. This must be incredibly expensive! Most of the awesome deals you see advertised are only good if you are starting up a whole new plan, or re-doing your contract with the company, otherwise you usually have to pay full price, and that is normally a couple hundred bucks for the really new, expensive phones with all the bells and whistles.

I go out of my way to avoid even walking near the cell phone booths in the mall and such for this reason. the sales people are always applying high pressure to you to upgrade, and i have no intention of doing so, and they try to make you feel bad about it. I understand that they make large parts of their paychecks based on commission, but that doesn't mean they have to be rude about it.

So far I am satisfied with my mobile phone now. I have this for about six months already. Whenever I want something new features in a phone, I make it sure I have extra money for a new phone with my wanted feature. If there's no budget yet, I will save money from my own pocket, from my own personal allowances.

I am using and old nokia phone now.I have my latest fone but i do still uses my old unit fone.As long it is functioning and useful there is no reason that don't use it.I have also encounter a person that asking me why i am using an old unit,I just tell him that "MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS"

I don't often like to change my cell phone.I will select the durable cell phone and have warranty atleast 1 year when i buy.I am not busy so i think the cell phones never have important alot to me.

I would also tell the same thing to who ever asked me like that. I just bought a new phone lately because my other phone wasn't functioning anymore. I don't like to buy one just to show off to others my new phone. Besides that person is just trying to sell his products so he would say anything to convince you so that you will buy a new cellphone even if you don't really need it.

Wow, what happen to the phrase if it isn't broken don't fix it? I do not see cell phones as a status item, but well, let's remember that he is selling cell phones, tho I do not like his approach, mocking the customers is not going to make him lots of money.

For me..I was into all the latest stuff on my early twenties...like I wanted 3G, with Cam, FM, Net, ect.. Now, I only prefer a simple phone which I can make calls and receive and send sms and receive! All other extra stuff is no more in use for me! So I guess I love my old simple mobile phone!

Such a mean person it's just a method for sales.The new cell phone have many functions we all know it.But it doesn't mean we should have one.thing changce quickly maybe in a few days later an another newphone come up again.Should we changce again.I think cell phone whatever new or old.suit for you is the best.
