I thought it would last forever... |

| but now... everything seems to be falling out of place. We met at Target and were friends at first sight. I knew of him from a friend of a friend at a summer party and I was glad to finally meet him where I knew he'd be. He was so cool, a great listener, and a super fun entertainer. I felt so lucky. It was too good to be true and all of the other girls were jealous. My friends LOVED him. He always showed us a good time. And before I knew it, he was meeting my parents and making delicious fruit drinks for us. Boy, did he know how to blend. He could replace a Blendtec Smootherâ„¢ Bar Blender any day. That was just a goofy compliment we were always giving him. Who needed a bartender when we had him around? He encouraged my family to drink healthier beverages and even got us to try Kiwis and mangos, which we had never touched before. I was in love. My family was in love. With the Kiwis and mangos. Oh, and I loved him too. He got me interested in a new hobby and I couldn't be happier. My friends and family have even been introduced to this new hobby. He certainly changed our lives and made life so sweet. It's been a few years since then and he isn't the same anymore. He's much different than when I first met him at Target and brought him home to meet my parents and relatives. Even my Grandmother liked him, but he seems distant from everyone now. He just can't grind at parties like he used to. He seems so sad that he can't entertain anyone anymore. I told him to take things slow and not try to impress everyone with his talents, but he just won't listen to me. He's burning himself up and it's hard for my family and I to watch. He's getting louder and angrier and it upsets me. I love him and I will always love him, but yesterday I made the decision and told him that it's just time for him to move out and go his own separate way. Now I am free and I've never felt better. I think I'm going to go to Williams-Sonoma tomorrow. I saw one of their own in there and he looks so fine. I think he could be the one...he looks like he can blend and mix delicious smoothies for a long, long time. Ahh.... Hello, new blender. Do you like to blend? | | | | | |

| | Just your day, eh? Well I suppose how grateful I am depends on how long your day is. Is it a full 24 hours, which equates to 1440 minutes or 86400 seconds? That sounds great. :) Or is your day somewhat less? 8 or 10 hours maybe. Hmmm then I am already cutting deep into it and my does time fly when you are under pressure like this. Of course we also have this time zone difference going on which may reduce it even further. Or does it increase it? I suppose it depends on whether you are starting the clock or I am. I wonder if I could change Polonius' quote to "Neither a worrier nor a blender be" Do you think Shakespeare would mind? /..\ | | | |

| | I did noticed, but I put it down to the intervention by Irish possibly putting you off your stride. If you are unfamiliar with Shakespeare then I have a confession to make. The actual quotation taken from Hamlet is: "Neither a borrower nor a lender be" That of course makes sense as you can lose friends or money if you don't follow the advice. I just added a b to lender to fit in with your discussion. As usual I have failed miserably to raise even the slightest titter. :( Ah well, back to the drawing bored :P | | | |

| | But soft! What light through yonder window breaks? Of course of all Shakespeare's plays, if you had to pick one to read. That is the best for young romantics :) I have been to Juliet's balcony in Verona and the entrance is far from romantic. Full of graffiti and chewing gum stuck to the walls. Old Willie sure had a way with words. I'd love to hear your personal experience of 'being' Juliet. Forsooth! haha | | | |

| | Sweet? I think he is far from flattering in his comparison between his mistress and the natural world. haha Hair like wire, annoying voice, breath that stinks? :o The Brothers Grimm's description of Snow White is far sweeter :) | | | |

| | Thanks for the BR, steflane! Unlike Shakespeare's mistress, I certainly can't view it as a back-handed compliment. A BR by any other name is still a BR. Have a nice day :) | | | |
