When you wake up, do you read the morning paper, or just watch the news on TV?  |

 I watch the news every morning...usually because I'm still up in the morning. But I don't think we ever get the newspaper here. If we did, I still don't think I'd read it. What about you?

Occasionally if my partner brings his newspaper home after work and I'm particularly bored, I'll have a look through it. I don't think I've watched the news on TV for years.

Sometimes though, when I have quick breakfast in some fastfood like McDonald's, they give a free newspaper which I gladly accept. My favorites are the opinions on the editorial section. The writings are like lectures in a class. I love the entertainment section, too. I am tickled by the sharp wit of the cartoonists. The sudoku and the crossword puzzles are bonuses for pastime pleasure. But hey, I'm a television news viewer, too. The video clips worldwide are treats to an ordinary homemaker like me. Am glad for the technology. Glad too to have existed in this time.

| 6. pyewacket (11581) | 4 months ago |  Being a real night owl, I usually catch the re-broadcast of the 11:00 p.m. news much later on, then is the World News Now that's on from 3-5:00 a.m. When I wake up later in the day, I don't have the TV on at all, but will put the radio on to catch the news while I'm eating "breakfast"--later at night when I'm here MyLotting I have the radio on again but to listen to music...I've never been big on reading newspapers though not even when I was younger

So during the time I can also do other things: cooking and having breakfast. I like listening to radio very much. So in my flat I have 4 radios in every room. So I would not miss any minute to listen to radio.
