I would like to put an introduction on my blogs, something that will stay on top and not just a post that will go into the archives. For example,if I had a moneymaking blog I would put something like: This is a blog about the ways I earn money online. I will review the different sites I use and post tips for earning the most out of each one." (This is a sample only; I don't actually have this blog).

The post you're talking about is called "sticky" - meaning, it will stick to your front page and will not get lost as you continue to post blog entries.

Wordpress.com blogs don't have sticky option. But wordpress.org blogs do have.

In case you have your blog under wordpress.com or blogger/blogspot consider adding a widget of text. In wordpress you'll find it in the widget option in your dashboard. In Blogger, you'll find it in the Add Page Elements under the Dashboard. Insert your intro text there. Hope this helps. Happy myLotting!
