We are on Baby Alert!

That's true around here as well. We have two young ones at church that are just getting ready to celebrate their 1st birthday's, and another one that is due (just as Amber is) any day now.
Amber's office has 6 girls who are all expecting between now and Christmas. My former sister in law is pregnant as well as my nephew's wife who just gave birth in May to my 2nd great nephew.
Then I found out today that the young woman that Mike and I "Adopted" a couple of years ago after her parents died...was pregnant and will have the baby sometime in January.

She is such a joy! Amber and James are bringing her by to see me tomorrow. I can't wait. It's been almost a week since I saw her last! She is growing by leaps and bounds. It seems she changes daily! James tells me she is already moving her mouth and making little cooing noises.

I certainly did enjoy her arrival! I got the call three weeks ago today. I had just gotten to church when Amber's sister called me and said "Meet us at the hospital!". It was a little wild at first because her mother was out of town with her younger sister. So myself and Amber's Aunt were the calming influence for the first three hours. Now we're just having trouble keeping the batteries charged for the camera! LOL

It certainly seems to be going well so far. Addyson is three weeks old today! She is chubby and happy. Hardly ever cries except for moI'm including a picture of our little angel! She already has her papa Mike (My husband) wrapped around her little finger! You can definately see that from the picture I'm including.

How cool! My cousin's newest grandchild named her little girl June Michelle. which June is Amber's middle name! Our little June will be a year old next month. Now her mama has a new baby boy born last week. Her mother in law (my cousin) isn't happy that she got pregnant again so soon. It will be really tough on her with two babies under the age of a year old.

no. Someone else had aske them that. My son rolled his eyes and said "That show is a chick flick. Why would I name my kid after a tv show. He's so blunt. That statement earned him a slug from Amber!
Actually, she named her Addyson after hearing a woman call her little girl that in the grocery store. Grace was Amber's great grandmother's name!

Addyson Grace is a pretty name, any nick names in the works for the lil one?

Definately. Everyone has shortened her name to Addy. Amber's mom has even started signing all of her text messages and e-mails "Addy's Mimi."! How funny that when a baby comes along that grown men and women become just plain silly. My daughter found her a onesie this weekend that says "If you think I'm cute, you should see my aunt" Now all the girls...both of mine, and Amber's two sisters are all play fighting about which one of the it's talking about.
