Front Door Wreath  

I've never owned a wreath before personally, but I bought my mom one that is made of fake dogwood branches, flowers, and leaves. It looks beautiful year round so she hung it up in her house and leaves it up year round.

We can't put anything on our front door, but I do always have a seasonally appropriate wreath/decoration on our coat closet, right inside the front door. Right now it's a spring scene, with a white picket fence, colorful tulips,and bumblebees, and it says "Home Sweet Home."

I have never put a wreath up I alway think of funerals when the word wreath is mentioned and in Scotland we think of it as an English tradition but my mum did have one this year I do not know why .
I always think the weather is not good for hanging thinks on the door it can be very wet and windy here and very much this year.

I do different things, not always wreaths. I have a hart shaped "wreath" of lavender on the inside of my door and on the front I do all kinds of different things. Right now I have a shamrock glass ornament on it. I had a pair of mittens (wooden) with our name on them. Before that a wreath for the holidays. I'm thinking an egg wreath for Easter.. yeah.. better get moving on that one! LOL
