Write it out!   

I used to write because it was the only feasible way for me to get rid of the dark stuff. Once the lights were back on, I stopped writing, and moved on to a different way of expressing things.

Some people are just meant to write, though, and I think you may be one of them. Not just the bad stuff, but fun, funny stuff, too.

Apparently this develops trolls too huh? You have a fan in #2 I see.

Who is Martin? I did not miss the content of your post but when I saw Martin, I stopped cold. My first husband that I lived almost identical lives to yours with, was named Martin.
Well with my first marriage, I started writing in a journal. I wrote all my feelings and all my questions as to what I was doing wrong, etc. I poured my heart and soul into that journal. I still have it and others that I have tried to begin. But that first one was an eye opener for me. I read it now and all I can see is a pitiful little girl struggling to be what her husband wants her to be but knowing full well that that is not who she is. That pitiful little girl never let go of herself, no matter how hard he pulled.
I want my Son to read that someday. I want to write more in my journal but that would take time from what and to whom I write here. Writing puts everything into perspective. Hugssss

I like to write for fun. Also, for serious stuff, it helps me get my thoughts in order.

Your poem is SO my husband, I'm thinking. Except he WON'T leave. Is this a good thing, a bad thing? Still figuring that one out.

I keep getting this "you can't change so I will have to" stuff from him. And then he doesn't. lol

So I'm going to prove him wrong, prove the stupid diagnosis wrong (oh wait, I don't have a diagnosis lol) and just start speaking up straight out as much as I am able.

Yesterday he called me mean. I told him right away not to do that, it's emotional abuse. He needs to hear that stuff right when it's happening (kind of like a puppy - you have to teach it not to pee on the rug right away when it happens or the lesson's wasted).

Maybe it will give us a chance, maybe it won't, but at least we'll understand each other better...

I do like to write because it does help me deal with issues in my life. If I feel like I can't say something out loud, I'll put those feelings down on paper. Sometimes it's easier just to write what you feel on paper then to try talking about it. I don't know why, but it's my main way of coping with things.

seems that men to some extent are somewhat similar. they expect for a person to change to make things easier on them. i did that for a time and totally lost who i am. heck i dont recall the person i was 3 years ago. the only person that accepted me as me slipped away from me when people got overly pushy.

no one has the right to make a person feel inadequate or not good enough for wanting to assert their opinion or be a actual breathing person instead of a "yes" or "ok" person.
