Is it happy to be single?

I am single, newly single. It has only been a few days but I think I will be much happier. I rarley go out so I don't have to worry about that. I do worry about growing old alone, but it is what it is and there's not much I can do about it!
I do care about other's happiness, but #1(ME)is always first!

what i can just say it is happy sometimes because i am single now.no need to suffer bad things from marriage.i like beautiful sunset also i need family warm .it is hard to get both sometimes.well,we are just trying to get both

This is as simple for me because i love to be single because i love to be alone.I'm happy with my life now But Time is always there that make you out of this single life world..:)

Who told you singles don't care about others? You are happy if the happiness comes from within, and you might be miserable even if you are with a significant partner. As humans we are social animals, we need a partner for growing but we need some time just for ourselves.
I am single, happy, with beautiful friends and daughter, I volunteer, I treat everybody with respect and I hope to find a companion for my life to grow together and share some values.
If you don't feel good inside, you will never be happy, single or not....

you can only be happy being single while your still young, coz you want to explore everything, do whatever you want and have some fun.. but somehow when your getting old... you will realize that you need someone to be with... and being married is not also a guarantee that yo can be happy and not... if you want to get married, make sure that you are well equiped with everything. financially, emotionally.. and that its not only bcoz you love the person coz somehow, love failed. but trust, respect, honest, acceptance and understanding.. if you have those then i can assure you.. you marriage life will be happy.

Being single is a choice and you don't think any responsibilities only yourself. My mother told me that no one gonna taking care of me when I gets old if I don't have a child. I'm begin to realize that she is right but for me if no one gonna taking care of me there's an institution for elderly so I'm not worried in that matter. I'm also want to be married but I think the right guy doesn't find me yet hah... hah...hah. Yes sometimes I'm experienced loneliness but I get used to it.

I am a single and very happy being that way. The reason being is that I like my own space, I like doing what I want without having to compromise to suit others, I like the fact that I am only responsible for my own actions rather than those around me and I actually like being by myself. It's not as if I haven't tried being in a relationship and spent many years in various relationships only for them to fail quite often becuase I felt constricted by them.

I honestly believe that some people are destined to be single and that is not a bad thing or should be looked down on by those who find it strange that you haven't found a partner.

So am I afraid of the lonely long night, well to be honest no, I don't find nights that long and loneliness does not affect me. Am I afraid of the future, nope why should being single make you more afraid of the future than someone in a relationship. Do I care about people's hapiness, well yes and that is part of the reason I choose to be single as for me being in a relationship causes unhapiness for both parties involved and yes I am single and happy.

Yes depending on your approach towards it. Being single gives you time to achieve your goals in life and less time to worry about love, pain and other things that involves a close love relationship with someone. You get more time to study. to relax and to stay calm. Worrying will definitely not be there since you don't have to be wondering about what your lover is up to, did he really go to the place he said he was going and with whom did he go. Stuffs like that, that can keep your mind busy and annoyed.

So if you want to achieve certain things in life, especially where education is concerned, you should definitely stay single..
