I think the Hula Burger sounds delicious! I love making burgers stuffed with onions, bell peppers and pineapple, topping it with mozzarella cheese! McPizza?! Gimme a break, you can't do that to a hamburger! But then, McDonald's doesn't serve real hamburgers. They don't even taste like beef, and certainly don't look like it.

The very first thing that came to mind were the "flops" from my own kitchen! Not in terms of being unhealthy, just that they looked awful! I try to cook (and eat) as healthy as possible, mainly, these days, because of my health issues but also because I've always been health-conscious.

When my kids were young and saw some of the disasters I've pulled out of my oven, and they stopped dead in their tracks and just stared at whatever it was, then, usually, muttered some kind of disgusting noise, I knew I'd be eating alone that night! It was on those occasions that my kids got the old standby chicken nuggets, hot dogs (chicken, of course), or hamburgers and I'd eat the disastrous-looking horror that I had just pulled out of the oven. Hey, it usually tasted okay... USUALLY. It just looked awful.

I've never eaten any of those things you've mentioned. McLobster??? Never even heard of it! Probably just as well because I may have wanted to give that a try.

I'm not much into fast food these days. When I think of the prices of some of these things, then think about how cheaply I could make them myself (and usually more healthy) I just make them at home. When I get into "cooking mode" I usually make WAY more than what is needed for one meal, then freeze the rest. I've become rather good at making healthy burritos, chicken nuggets, french toast (with my home-grown blueberries cooked in), fried chicken (in olive or peanut oil, of course), etc. I also prefer to use as much as I can grow myself because I'm SURE they are pesticide-free.

So, I'm really not one to respond to this discussion because I honestly don't know of any fast food flops but, well, you know me... just couldn't keep my mouth shut/fingers still.

You'd think there'd be a McAroon wouldn't you?? What happened to the McGreaseball; McGristle and McMSG??

Yet ANOTHER reason (actually 10 reasons) to not eat at McDonalds. Or to put it another way - the last 5 times I went to McDonalds were to get drinks and fries.

I never heard of any of those items. I guess it just shows not everything is golden at the golden arches.

Hi hic, I consider it very lucky that we have no Mcdonalds at all here, I think the nearest one is at the airport in Athens. However Gythio, which is famous for hanging the octopus up to dry on clothes lines, has a small McTakis.

Somehow it wouldn't have worked as McPanioytis so they used the abbreviation of the name which is Takis. It's hard to choose when I'm there between fresh grilled lobster or a burger but funnily enough I've yet to set foot in McTakis.

I had not heard of alot of them. It is amazing what places will try. Most of them did not look too good.
