my money 's gone!!

If it was your book that you had purchased, that would make it your money.... Why would they see you as a culprit, unless the book was much much more valuable than that in either monetary means, historical, or sentimental ones?

If you told them the truth, there isn't really anything that you can do except retrace your steps, pull out your pockets and check them or anywhere else that you might have stuck this money for safe keeping. You cannot force your parents to believe you. Im sorry to hear of your loss.

I've had lost money and its never a good feeling. Sometimes the money could be found. Don't lose hope maybe you can find it back.

it happens many times varun...we lose the money and later have to face distrust of elders, but i dont remember any such case happening with me..yes ...i lost some things which were important for me at that time...like i lost my bicycle when i was in college ....i felt very bad for it..but i was not blamed by anyone as my father knew that its not my fault...its lock was not proper..so i was lucky not to be scolded
