Do you procrastinate alot?

I procrastinate because most of the time I don't feel like studying or doing homework or whatever the task is. I guess I don't feel like doing what needs to be done because I feel I do my best work when there is a limited amount of time. I guess I like feeling the rush of doing stuff last minute. lol.

I do it when I know at least something about what is to tested and when I know my chances of making a good grade are almost nil. Nonetheless, I want to spend my time doing fun stuff rather than cram before an exam.

Bad? Is a hard word. But, yes it is not good to put off things you should have done by a certain time.
Unless you like putting yourself under stress.
Some people work better under stress.

Me on the other hand, I need to keep my things ordered.
Of course I don't always. That makes me irritated.
Having to do things in the last minute really makes me get frustrated fast.

When I do things ahead of time, I have more time for my fun things, without thinking about what I have to do. Because then I will have already done them.

Same with the bus. My BF waits till the last minute. Some times he misses his bus. I on the other hand want to be 5 min earlier. This way I cannot miss my bus.
Sometimes the bus comes earlier, than you have to wait for the next one longer.

The best answer to this: I will think about it and get back to you in an hour!

You don't like that? OK - I am a serious believer in doing the things that are important straightaway, the less important things later, and the unimportant things when I can be bothered (or more likely when my wife tells me that they need doing as most things, that I regard as unimportant, are very important to her).

Beware procrastinating too much. Life passes far too quickly, and think what you might miss!

I do procrastinate a lot. I always makes some plans to do but when its time to do the my plans I always say, "later I'll do it, promise!" until its really too late. I have this habit to say I can do it later. I really can't control myself to procrastinate. I really think its really bad. Because we're not being productive and waste lots of head starts on doing stuffs.

No, I don't procrastinate, just because I just read this discussion 5 hours ago, and only responding now doesn't mean anything.

I am a HUGE procrastinator, and it's an unavoidable thing to me. I always push my homework to do at night, and instead hop on the computer and use MySpace or something like that.
Procrastinating is definitely a bad thing, because when you procrastinate you won't get the best results, and sometimes you have to rush through things just to finish.

I procrastinate a lot. At any given moment, there are a lot of things I should be doing but instead I will be reading, playing on my computer, or doing random tasks that are useful but not necessary.

Yes! I do procastinate but only during weekends. I think I have the right to be during weekends.So, sometimes If I schedule washing my laundry on a Saturday and my friends call up and invites to go out, I leave my chores undone.LOL. And on the next weekend I'll have mounds of dirty clothes. LOL

Bad? I guess it depends on what your definition of "bad" is. I have procrastinated all my life, it seems the only thing that motivates me is a looming deadline.

Having said that, I have found that some things I have learned to overcome in procrastinating. I am never (unless something wildly out of my conrol) late. I now hate being late, but this is something I practiced and learned. I am early with Christmas shopping, no more days shlepping around the stores on Christmas Eve, and scheduling my furnace cleaning which now always gets done well before the heating season has arrived. Unfortunately this does not include other tasks like shopping and income tax, I always seem to rushing to the store or post office at the last minute or late, something I should work on. Maybe tomorrow .
