I wondered into the store the other day and picked up Rolling Stone (August 2009) magazine upon seeing Obama's head on the cover (which the cover artist admits was made to look like George Washington) and see the feature article: "A Roundtable": Paul Krugman, David Gergen (CNN-worked for Nixon, Ford, Reagon AND Clinton!!), and Micheal Moore I regret to admit now that, upon finding out Micheal Moore was a huge supporter of Obama it just threw my support for the now president elect just right over the top. I thought what better a person to represent me then some small-town dude then this guy and I gotta tell you every documentary leading up to the election I bought no questions asked. So you can imagine my shock when the other day I'm reading this interview between the three and toward the end of the interview Micheal Moore is asked what the biggest disappointment of Obama's term and Micheal responds: "Appointing Rahm Emanuel as his chief of staff. Rahm's brother is my agent, and I can't get him to return my calls anymore. He spends his day talking to his brother, trying to run the world. That's my personal beef --- I can't get my agent on the phone!" WWWW-HH-AT!!! My jaw nearly dropped right to the floor--- NOW EVERYTHING IS MAKING SENSE--I just feel like an idiot, I've been suckered! [i] A little history[/i]: Micheal Moore called for the single-payer system all over that interview!! "If a true public option is enacted -- and Obama knows this -- it will eventually bring about a single payer system, because the profit-making insurance companies won't be able to compete with a government run plan and make the profits they want to make." Even admitting his admiration for Obama saying he "fakes right and goes left" calling it Obama's craftiness....I call it lying!!
