Do you believe even without seeing or you need to see to believe it?  |

 Good day fellow MyLotters,
"To see is to believe" these are mostly one of the words we often heard to someone, if we are trying to explain something strange or we are trying to encouraging someone to join like for example in PTC. Have you experience someone say this words to you? Well for me I have experienced it many times and I have also experienced saying these words to someone too. But now I never used this words anymore, because sometimes when I attended a mass one Sunday, our parish priest have tackled about this in his homily, his story is like this:
One day a child is asking his uncle why he didn't believe that God really exist, the uncle replied, "why should I believed that, does anyone of you who believed that God exist have seen him, well for me I cant believed on anything that I didn't see, to see is to believed" then the child think for a moment, then he ask another question to his uncle, "uncle have you seen your brain?", then the uncle hurriedly replied "how can I see it, when it is inside my head, no I didn't see my brain yet", then the child replied, "maybe you don't have any brains at all, cause as you have said to see is to believed".
Will you still answer to see is to believed?

| brienn (407) | 5 months ago | Yeah it is very true not all that we can see are true, like for example the attitude of a some back fighters out there, when they are in front of you what you see is a good friend, but you didn't when they are at your back they telling some bad things about you. | |

Honestly speaking I do both and it depends on the person who is telling me something. If it is my mother or some trusty friend i don't have to see to believe it. But if i get a news from one of my acquaintance or a stranger i would like to see it to believe it:)

| 6. strawberrychocodahi (2471) | 5 months ago |  It depends on what particularly has to apply. On PTC sites and other online money making scheme, it is favorable for me to see first before believing. This is the usual way that we people have to believe first.
But when it comes to the topic about God, then I don't have to see before I believe, since that is what you call Faith, believing without seeing. When I was a kid, I don't experience any difficulty for me to believe that there is someone guiding me. I already know in my heart and mind that God is there for me. This is my opinion, I do respect others if they don't believe in God, I would not force my belief, that is why I said, this is my opinion.

But if you are talking about science and technology, then i better see it to believe it. talk do not guarantee the truth. only eyes can tell.

People can say whatever they want but actually it might turn out to be something else

for example god. some ppl have faith without seeing while others need to be contacted by god b4 they change their ways.
and then if you hear about the 'two girls and a cup' fiasco, you really need to see it to believe it, i know i did and i regret it full heartidly.
it is true that sometimes u do just ahve to have the faith and trust in others and such to beleive but seein is definatly an advantage and easier to do so.
