Do your baby/ child has birth mark

I heard that some marks will fade off when grow older.. some grow bigger.. depends.. my only question is also, where do birth mark come from ah?

I think most of the marks will be bigger while growing.

peter123456..my daughter one is just a tiny spot.. even it grows bigger, I dont think it will affect her.. thanks for responding

polo_princess, is birth mark inheritable? I don't know about that.. I am still wondering how come it happen... anyway, you are right, your girl is unique in anyway, and having dimple on her butt...

I love to see her in the bath, and she will try all ways to reach for my hand, since she try to lick the water off my palm.. see, that's how cheeky can my 5 months old be... and I heard of the 2 dots too on the head, but I also heard that people who has 2 dots are smart too...

Hey submerryn, regarding the 2 dots on the head, it is explained that the kids with 2 dots is more clever than the others. HaHa, your are lucky to have 2 dots on your son's head. He is not going to be a mischievous boy, he is indeed a smart boy. Just look and your profile picture and i can see your boy has a smart LOOK!

Really? 2 dots means smarter babies? That's nice to hear. Hopefully it will be true. You cant imagine my horror when I first discovered that he had that two dots, I actually cried! I was a teacher and my students with two dots are like.. undescribeable... so naughty!

As a mother, I just wish my boy will grow up strong and healthy and will be able to contribute to the world in the future.:)

dorannmwin, so you mean that birth mark is also inheritance? I just wonder how it happen...I think for a boy, it doesn't matter lot, but for a girl, if there is a patch of 'darker' skin, it will be some disturb too right..

oh.. having moles are removable ya.. but not birth marks right? I ever heard of this birth mark is difficult, since it form part of the skin.. just like my brother, his mark near the nose.. but everyone says it's good... so, he couldn't be bothered to remove it... I heard of Dr Ranjit too..

oh yes vingyan.. it's a good thing for that ya.. a remarkable mark to represent somebody.. just like those old time show, the mother who look for their missing child will always try to match with birth marks... and your girl is so cute that she can't recognise herself.. she must have outgrown overly beautiful..

Hi cwong, I never thought of good to have a birthmark. But you give a good point. Sometimes a birthmark can get to recognize some one. Just a dear friend of mine has twin babies. She can recognize her own babies easily. But for her mom, she sometimes need to go for the birthmark to recognize who is Kor Kor ( elder son ) and who is Di Di ( younger son ) .
As for my daughter, she is so cute. She keep asking me the little baby in the photo. She is wondering why mummy carrying a baby but not her in the photo. Ha Ha. After I tell her about the birthmark on her stomach, only she can recognize herself. But guess what, she said that birthmark is a strawberry, LOL. She then asked me why there is a strawberry on her stomach.

dbabcook.. thanks for responding.. and yes indeed, it's not easy to remove birth mark since it's part of the skin.. and it's Ok.. a cute little patch for your girl, and I don't think it's necessary to remove it..
