1. ibuemma (1226) | 5 months ago | Well, actully both of my kids love the one that have bubble gum flavor. But lately I give them the one that has light minty taste. I don't want them stuck with bubble gum flavor taste. And I also give them the mouth rinse ( Like Listerine, but has flavor for kids too ).

Binthu (3107) | 5 months ago | Hi Ibuemma,
Thanks for your comments.
Absolutely you are right, most of the kids likes to use the best flavor toothpaste in order to enjoy the taste of the toothpaste when they are brushing their teeth, most of the flavor like fruits, bubble gum, mint are the most acceptable flavor in the kid's toothpaste. When the recent survey indicate that most of the kids are liked to use the fruit flavor toothpaste instead of other flavor and also we have to choose the best branded one in order to confirm the quality of the toothpaste contains good antiseptic as well as good cleaning agents.
Have a great day.
Best of luck.

2. thea09 (4481) | 5 months ago | Hi Binthu, here the local dentist visits the school often and checks the children's teeth and talks to them about the right things to eat to keep their teeth healthy. She also brings a goody bag with a fun information pack, new toothbrush and a tube of children's toothpaste which is what we then buy. I have never heard of fruit flavoured toothpastes or gimmicky ones and we stick to mint and am happy to know what I buy has the dentists approval. As visiting the dentist is a costly expense I think it is great that she takes the time to make her regular school visits.

Binthu (3107) | 5 months ago | Hi Thea,
YES That's true, most of the school has been invited many dentist to check the kid's teeth and also the dentist will recommend the right toothpaste for the kids. But generally most of the kid's toothpaste contains mild antiseptic or antibacterial ingredients along with mild cleaning agents too, and the flavor of the toothpaste must be fruits, bubble gum or mint in order to attract the kids, when they are going to brush their teeth. All this flavor are just only for attracting the mentality of the kids and nothing more than that, that is the reasons adult toothpaste dost contains any flavor likes kids.
Have a great day.
Best of luck.

Binthu (3107) | 5 months ago | Hi Rajupaul,
Thanks for your comments.
Absolutely selecting or choosing the right toothpaste for the kids is very important in order to keep the teeth in kids, good condition. Better to use or select the best branded toothpaste for the kids because it should contains good ingredients of antibacterial agent as well as good cleaning agent in order to save the teeth and also to keep the teeth in good conditions. Most of the kids toothpaste contains flavor like fruits, bubble gum, and mint in order to give more interest to the kids while they are brushing the teeth.
Have a good day.
Best of luck.

4. mrakobesie (754) | 5 months ago | i would use Tom's brand tooth paste for kids, it has sodium monofluorophosphate (natural flouride) that protects the teeth instead of sodium flouride (artificialy produced flouride) that damages teeth. it's strawberry flavour, so kids love it and it's really good at protecting their teeth too.

Binthu (3107) | 5 months ago | Hi Mrakobesie,
How are you today? hope that you are fine and doing well.
All the kid's toothpaste must contains some good flavor in order to attract the kids and also give them encouragements to brush their teeth with great interest on everyday. There are strawberry, apple bubble gum, mint flavor, and apple, strawberry has been widely accepted by all the kids because of the great taste. As you have said the natural fluoride sodium mono fluoro phosphate having the same effects of sodium fluoride, and the artificial fluoride can create the side effects, if your using over dosages or multiple brushes on everyday more than recommended times.
Have a great day.
Best of luck.

mrakobesie (754) | 5 months ago | sodium monoflouro phosphate has different effect on teeth then sodium phosphate, sodium phosphate can cause teeth decay while sodium monoflouro phosphate prevents this decay.

Binthu (3107) | 5 months ago | Again appreciating your answer, and also again informed that everything whether chemical or herbal has it's own limitation, if you touch beyond the limitation it will gives the more side effects including poisoning effects. When you are going to use this sodium monofluoro Phosphate within the range, it will be act as a good protector but if you are going to use this more than 0.76% then alternatively it will becomes poisons.
Have a great day.

mrakobesie (754) | 5 months ago | sodium monoflourophosphate showed toxisity in rata at .9g/kg, they add such small amounts to toothpaste just to be on a safe side, it's not a limitation. For my size i have to eat 50 grams of it to show side effects, it's a very high amount so it's not very toxic at all, and even vitamins can lead to side effects if you overdose on them.
