I believe dogs, like human, have strange eating habits, too. I know that eating grass is good for dogs as it's a natural way of healing illness, but I've also seen my dog eating his own poop . I wonder if that's OK. Does your dog do that? What are the strange things that you dog eats?

Unfortunately, eating poop is one of the grosser habits of the canine species. Dogs tend to think it's a delicacy and eat it to gain extra nutrition. However, any good vet will tell you that it is not the best idea to allow them to continue such behavior. Consult with your vet first, but they may recommend sprinkling some meat tenderizer on their food or feed your dog some small chunks of pineapple periodically. Always be mindful of what your dog is eating...just like some things are toxic to us...there are many average things which are toxic to dogs. Best of luck breaking your pooch of this icky habit!
