What a day!  

It was so much fun just being able to eat free. I think the caterer was the local restaurant which might have been Applebees or Chilis.

No I didn't have to cook for him since he ate around 4 mini burgers, meatballs, pizza bites, and the other stuff they had there. I kept the ladies at the booth busy telling me about their products. I told my kids to eat up since the food was free. Vendors who were supposed to try to sell you stuff had plates with food behind them and just signed cards so they could eat. It was so good, especially the mini hamburgers.

Oh, I see. Your husband went with you. Or did you just take some of this food home to him? Kathy.

He was with me since we were looking for uniforms at JCPenney with the 10 dollar voucher. We decided to take a walk to Children's Place which is down the mall when we ran into this event.

They don't mention the food but that is what they served. I was so content after spending time in the food area that we just left afterwards. The kids were so excited because they had those little slushies of margarita mixes with no alcohol so they felt happy.

I know what you mean I went to an immunization fair but all they served were hot dogs, chips, juices, fruit, and a granola bar. This was actually catered. Goodwill donated the jeans and you just had to pick one out to donate. No cost at all. I really didn't understand why they would serve so much food for just a simple event.

I went for the exact same thing for one of my kids. They all have two sets of uniforms each but I have a hard time finding some of them because they use either husky or regular. Alot of people didn't know what was going on. I am sure alot of people that you had to purchase something since it was a charity type event. I told several ladies who were passing by to get a card and don't be afraid. We had a nice time and yes I was amazed that it wasn't just cookies with punch. The mini hamburgers were the best. A person kept bringing food to put on the trays. The kids enjoyed those little margita slushies (non alcoholic).

Way more depressed then ever these days. Have to go see one of them Dr's that you just talk to. I have not gone yet. But I will so I can smile again as nothing is working anymore. You have a great night your friend onlydia

I search the internet for free events when possible. Another one coming up is one in our city. They are going to be giving out free backpacks, food, and medical & dental stuff for the people in the community.

I thank God for such special treats because we really can't afford them....

I have really missed you but I knew you had started working and wasn't too happy with the whole thing. How are things going?

Well they are going that is about it. I just look at the phone still as I still have not caught up with my bills. But then I guess it could be worse I could be laid off again. I have to go see a Dr. that you sit and talk to and they tell you yes and then time is up. I have not went yet. Your friend onlydia
