Do you like use another lie to cover the first?  | |  Here is a story. A participant in the long-distance race got his shoes filled with sand when he was crossing a beach. He had to stop to get the sand out hastily before he resumed running. Unfortunately a gain of sand remained rubbing the sole and became increasing telling so that each step meant a twinge of pain. Reluctant to halt and get rid of the sand, he continuted to run in spite of the pain until he could bear no more.He dropped out of the contest just a few yards form the finishing line.
To avoid blam on a minor fault one may tell a lie. That adds a burden to a heavy heart and weighs it down. In the days to come he will have to fabricate one falsehood after another to cover the lie he told and the fault he committed. Thus he will never be able to free himself from lingering anxiety, worry and regret, to the ignorance that all his sufferings originate in only a grain of sand-the first lie he told.

| | | 3. caraj444 (781) | 4 months ago |  I agree that this is exactly what happens, nothing good ever comes from telling a lie it completely necessitates more lies and then the fear of being caught in said lie! I have mistakenly gotten into this situation before and its something i like to believe ive grown up enough not to fall into that path again! Its far easier in the long run just to face the consequences of telling the truth than have to make up more lies to cover for the first one even though it doesnt always seem like it at the time!
