It's darn annoying that it happens to most of us right? If you are talking about your cell phone, then try to bring it along into your shower next time. But make sure to place it somewhere dry! If it is the fixed line you are refering too, then no choice, let the machine pick it up. After all, how long can your shower be? How important it is, it can wait a few minutes. I doubt you'll shower the whole day!:) Anyway, the phone just knows when's the best time to ring, when we are the busiest!

That should be one of the Murphy's Laws "when yo are in the bathroom the phone always rings" or "There is always somebody to call you just when you enter the bathroom"

i realize you are referring to being in the bathroom at home... however... i have a funny story to share. if you think it is annoying when the phone rings at home and you are on pot it is really funny when the cell phone rings when you are in a public stall. lol. my friend and i were at the mall one day with the kiddos. we went into the bathroom for a potty break. while we were helping the kids wash their hands we heard a cell phone ringing from inside one of the stalls. we looked at eachother and kind of snickered. we assumed the phone would just ring and the person would let it go to voicemail... ummm... nope! LOL. we heard the person say hello. it took all i had not to burst into laughter right then and there! it was truely entertaining.:)
