 I had read this verse in the bible so many times. But as I finished reading it know, I understood it differently. This is what it takes to receive God's promises and participate in his divine nature which is stated in 2 Peter 1:4. I just think its so awesome that God shined some light on what he was trying to say.. He's giving us steps to follow in order to become part of his divine nature...WOW!!!!!!!!!!! GOd is awesome!

:5 Now I noticed you made references to two verses which one is it? 2 Pet. 1:4because this one says And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world's corruption caused by human desires...."

It's simple so divine and beautiful .. I believe in 5th verse he names the steps to achieve what he has promised in verse 4 | |
