How much time do you take to complete one book?

I read quite fast(at least that is what my friends tell me).I usually finished books like Order of the Phoenix and Half Blood Prince in about 15-16 hours. When I read a book, I usually read it at a stretch. Now when it comes to books like those of Dan Brown and Agatha Cristi, I take 8-9 hours to finish them. I love to read books and I read them whenever I can spend time. Sometimes I stay awake all night to finish a book.

It depends on what I am going. It can take me months or only a few days to finish a book depending how much time I have for reading. Last month I read at least a book a week, but I was on a road trip and had time for reading. Now that I am back home I have not even finished one book this month.

If I love the book or if the story in the book is captivating then I read the book for as long as I don't get tired. Sometimes I even push the limits and read the book even if I'm tired. I read the seventh book in the Harry Potter series like that. I completed the book in about 15 hours and I read it almost continuously except for taking breaks to drink and eat. But if the book is moderately interesting, then I keep a target for myself that I should complete about 75-100 pages in a day and follow the schedule.

It all depends on what I am doing on a certain day or week. If I really like the book, I can read it in two to three days. If I am not too into it, it might take longer. Sometimes, if I really like the book, I will stretch it out because I do not want to finish it, because it is really good. But all in all....I can read a book in two to three days at the most.
