1. Informer (538) | 4 months ago | HI James, I am using Samsung phone. My previous model was also from the same maker.I Like the product quality of the company. Thankfully I never visited any service center for any problem in my both handsets in last 5 years.

JamesKYTan (504) | 4 months ago | Hello Informer, My 1st phone was Panasonic, that was more than 10 years ago, maybe 18 years ago. Then I switched to Nokia twice. After Nokia, it was Ericsson, followed by Nokia. Finally backed to Sony Ericsson. Thanks for your response.

3. pinklemonade (366) | 4 months ago | The phone I have at the moment is a Nokia. It doesn't have a camera on although I am pretty sure you can get a seperate camera attatchment. Other phones I've had have been Motorolla, Lobster and Nokia. I brought this handset as at the time it was a good phone that had the lastest features. Now it doesn't as I got it in 2003 but as I have grown up I don't care about the latest phone features anymore so it still suits me. I have no idea how many mobile phones I have had, 6 that I can think of. In my household we have 2 different phone numbers and 4 handsets that are in use.
| |
| |
JamesKYTan (504) | 4 months ago | Hi pinklemonade,
Hand phone without camera function is ok. Its primary function is for communication, camera function is secondary. However, hand phone with camera feature may be useful at times when we want to snap some important or interesting events where there is no camera in hand. I have not come across Lobster. Is it an American brand? Thank you for your comments.
| |
pinklemonade (366) | 4 months ago | No I am from England. Lobster is a brand from Virgin Mobile, it is like their own brand they do only for Virgin Mobile phones.

4. benny128 (1421) | 4 months ago | my old phone is the Iphone, (which I still use), I also have a blackberry storm and alternate between the storm and the Iphone.
In the future I prob wont be getting a new phone untill the next generation of the Iphone comes out.
| |
| |
JamesKYTan (504) | 4 months ago | Hi ben, When you said your old phone, how many years have you been using? Why the need of two types of phone? You said you alternate between the two that means you off one and switch on the other, right? Thank you.
| |
benny128 (1421) | 4 months ago | the iphone is 2 years old, but updated to the latest version,
I swap the sim cards as the blackberry has a slightly better camera than the iphone
| |
JamesKYTan (504) | 4 months ago | Hi Ben, I agree with you. For cell phones, 2 years old is considered old. Generally, hand phone users usually like to up-grade to a better model with features. Cheers!
| |
benny128 (1421) | 4 months ago | heres another question should you upgrade every year as it isnt exactly eco friendly to change your phone every year??
| |
JamesKYTan (504) | 4 months ago | Hi Ben, To change your phone every year is mere extravagance even though it is not expensive. You can save the money for other purposes, example upgrade your computer or contribute to a portion of improving your house etc.But if it is necessary for you to do so because of new features that you can't live without it then go ahead. Probably, every 2-3 years.

6. jonjee0203 (1625) | 4 months ago | Well, my phone has most of the features. It is simply not an Ipod. I do not believe in buying expensive phone but I have graduated from the basic entry models. Right now, I am having them ore friendly Nokia brand. It sure has a camera so that I can capture great 'human experiences' with it. I have use a total of 4 hand phones now.Only my daughter has a hand-phone besides me. I used a post-paid. I believe it is more economical.I will still stick to Nokia if I should buy another phone. Soem say Sony-Erickson is also as good. I do not know.
| |
| |
JamesKYTan (504) | 4 months ago | What we want is a phone that is able to communicate with one another. Nowadays, a basic hand set means a simple phone with camera feature. Nobody or rarely anybody uses a hand phone without any camera feature. I think a good brand is either Nokia or Sony-Ericsson. Motorola has lost its positioning. Cheers!
| |
jonjee0203 (1625) | 4 months ago | Yes, a basic entry model will do the job. Many, however, carry hand-phones as status symbols. See those with IPODs and how they use the stylus and a keyboard to text. You can see many people around them envious that they have yet to purchases an IPOD. Yes some models with camera are very cheap these days. The current promotion by Citibank in Malaysia gives away a RM 550 Nokia with camera and video if you are successful in getting your credit card approved.
| |
JamesKYTan (504) | 4 months ago | Yes, most youngsters buy hand phone for status symbol. They go for the latest models with the latest features so that they can 'tayang'( show off) to their friends.Hand phones to them are just like girl friends. Oh! I have the best phone. Oh! I have the sexiest girl in town.

7. nijolechu (428) | 4 months ago | My first brand of cell phone was Nokia. It is one of those old flip phones. I just use it to make calls. Now I got one of those Sony Ericsson phones with a 5 Megapixel Cybershot camera. Its better than the Nokia because it has more features in it and has a bigger screen.
| |
| |
JamesKYTan (504) | 4 months ago | Well, a cell phone is a medium of getting in touch with your friends. Everyone has one. Most phone users opt for one with a basic camera features and it is cheaper. Wow! yours comes with a 5 Megapixel Cybershot camera, it must be expensive. My Sony Ericsson has a 2 Megapixel camera only. Thank you for your input.

JamesKYTan (504) | 4 months ago | Hello endonesia,
Your response is just only one word, 'Nokia.' Your don't earn any money at all. In order to earn some USD, you need to response by writing at least 3 sentences. For example:- "I am using Nokia hand phone. My wife also has a Nokia hand phone. We have been using Nokia phones for years. My first set was Nokia. My second, third and current set are all Nokia. I find that Nokia is good and reliable. I think I will stick to Nokia." Happy myLotting and happy earning big money in USD together.

Mobile phones are now a must for everybody. With technological advancement the mobile phones are coming with lots of exciting features. For a person who just uses mobile phones for calling,a lots of features like camera,internet,music,etc.. does not hold much importance.A simple cheap mobile will be nice for them. 10. animegirl334 (1644) | 4 months ago | I'm using the Verizon network. When I signed up for it, there wasn't really much choices but I found the one I like best. It was a greenish blue Jukebox. It does have a camera but it's resolution isn't really good. It's main feature is music and it's a great mp3 player. Everyone in my family has a cellphone but my grandmother and grandfather share one.
