You would call your 'brief' or more correctly your solicitor.
A barrister is what we get in court (overpriced and crap)

Well over here we call them lawyers as they know all the tricks to get round the law, even the lawyers here don't abide by the laws, just their interpretation. We call the ones which stamp the work of the lawyers notaries. Everyone should know one good lawyer to have in their pocket.

I went through a phase of regular court visits but only go once a month now so they make sure I'm not being a naughty boy.
It did actually help me a lot so I've no complaints really.

A couple of hippies we know took my parents to court over £100 what a waste of time!

yes we have to call our solicitors on our mobiles and if we dont we get given one. a phone in a cell is too dangerous (they have a cord for people who dont want to go down)
lol at americans over here we got arse, tea, solicitors (nothing to do with smackwhores) flats, mums, lifts, a ground floor and decent chocolate and sweets (better than candy) and we are too hardcore for guns to be legal without a license.

Nope...just the one bolted to the wall that you have to call collect on and it costs between 10-20 dollars per call...someone is making a killing there...and not getting arrested for it...

I have not visited our new facility, but the old one, years ago, just had a regular phone sitting on a desk and you could use that to call out to a local number

We have a brand new modern facility here...I haven't stayed there, but I used to register for stays at the old one quite often...

I have sampled quite a few of Her Majestys finest hotels but not for a few months as I am rehabilitated and reformed

Four days is my longest so far but I was a little ill at the time and they had nice food there and hot chocolate

It was never more than a day for me and there certainly wasn't any hot chocolate! Aside from the 2 instances I vaguely referred to, I was once "detained" at a police station for about 6 hours as a teenager while they tried to contact my Mum and the idiots locked me in an evidence room! Can you believe that??? I was like a kid in a candy store! Man oh man was there some cool stuff in that room! lol. The officer DID say "Don't touch anything", but C'MON!

Actually prisons in the UK are quite sweet they have xbox and Sky,and get given nice meals and have Halloween parties (paid for by taxpayers if I remember correctly), I don't have these things!

Nah, any visits to any jails will be local, as things will be heated at home as I try to make Frank leave the home to go to Illinois and he hangs on to the door for dear life
