Got a star here in Mylot?  | |  Hi fellow Mylotters! I am a member of Mylot for a month. I was starred 8 after a week in this site. Now I was starred now.
Well, I'm just curious how are we starred here? Is it based on the quality of our posts?
I notice some of the members who even had 500 posts don't have a star. I remember, I was starred 8 before only having more than 80 posts. Now,I have almost 200 posts and starred 9.
Are you starred? Is 10 the highest? Do you get more earnings when you are starred higher?

But I got one when my posts are just more than 80..

I don't understand how you had a star even before you reached 100 posts. There might be some confusion to you.
I also have a star and I started with 9 star on my 100 post and 89/100 reputation point.
Of course, stars are based on many factors like, quality of posts, length of each post, how many others have rated your posts as positive one, how many best responses are there, how many comments have you made and how many comments have you gained.
I think there is no direct relationship between your stars and earnings but yes, if you are rated higher star means that many others are commenting and giving + rating to your responses and discussion which in turn increases your earnings.
And yes 10 is the highest star with 100/100 reputation.

Well, thank for for responding in details to me. You know what, I though that 1 is the highest star before. Because I couldn't believe having a star of 8 after being in this for about two weeks.
