I just love English men! |

| Dontcha just love a good old English accent? Especially in music. Oooh I do like an English man singing his songs. I love Ian Dury and the Blockhead's with their song Sex and Drugs and Rock and Roll, Hit me with your Rhythm Stick! I love love love the Clash I wish I was a bit older and could have seen them, I went to Mick Jone's exhibition in London a few weeks ago, I got to touch all of their clothing, and rummage through their old video cassettes, touch the guitars. I absolutely love Joe Strummer's voice, favourite song could be Rudie can't fail but I like them all. Paul Simonon's voice with The Guns of Brixton, ooooohhhhh the guns of brixton.. The Stranglers, Jean Jacques Burnel is my friend's dad ( ), but even so I would listen to the music before I met him! I went to see The Specials play in brixton in May, it was great, and great to be with all the original fans. Madness, Waiting for the Ghost Train, all their songs make me want to dance. My boyfriend went to see them last month, I'm so jealous I couldn't go. I think my favourite is really the clash, all their music makes me feel good. Too much to think about so I'll stop here, do you like English music/singers? | | | | | |

| | Hi Gorjess! Well I am an Englishman and my wife says I love to hear the sound of my own voice, but I don't think that is what you mean. :P All those singers/groups are from the 70's and 80's. Punk and Ska. I too love those that you have mentioned. Madness is probably my favourite group and I just lurve Baggy Trouser! Paul Weller is another great English musician that is still going strong from that era. The Jam had some excellent stirring music. Hooray! What a nice day! | | | | | | |

| | Yes, I prefer him in The Jam, but I do like, You Do Something To Me. Going back to Ian Dury. I have New Boots and Panties. Only on vinyl, but it is still one of my favourite albums. Billericay Dickie is a classic. Also love Reasons to be Cheerful Part 3 which is later. Great Stuff! | | | |

| | Oh yes! I was a teenager when The Beatles were very popular! I was a big Beatle fan and I have a lot of their records. I always loved hearing them talk and sing! I also liked The Rolling Stones in their earlier days. I also liked The Kinks, The Yardbirds, Billy J. Kramer & The Dakotas, Peter & Gordon, you name it. Oh yes, I forgot to mention The Dave Clark Five. Those were the good old days. Yes, I love a good English accent. When daddy was living, he owned the Best Western Motel here in Jasper and there used to be a lady who was the front desk manager for a while from England. I used to love to hear her talk. I would love to hear you talk, too. Kathy. | | | | | | |

| | It's funny how English people sound really posh next to an American, you'd probably think I was posh too! | | | |
