We are having a bad thunderstorm here right now perfect time to take a nap

I am glad that you are taking advantage of this day to take that nap. With a newborn in the house sometimes it's just nice to be able to cuddle up with them and enjoy their company. I remember I used to snuggle with my last son. Maybe because I thought he would be the last but he was honestly a blessing to me because he had brought joy into my life when I was depressed. Yes I love to sleep when its raining. Its the best time to sleep. I wish you could send me some of that rain my way. Its suppose to me monsoon rains here in New Mexico. You wouldn't believe it though. Its sunny and 86 degrees. I would love a good rainstorm right about now. I never thought after leaving New York that I would ever miss the rain, but when you don't get alot of rain all year round you miss it big time. I hope you enjoyed your nap while your precious child slept. Take care!

hi Christylynn I seem to have missed out on the good news at your place that your daughter finally is born. Hope everything went fine and you are tired but happy now and your big family is happy as well.
Sometimes I am so dead tired that I sleep during a storm or thunder and lightning but when I notice we have suc bad weather I always fear the basement will be flooded and cant sleep cause I worry too much.

Where do you live? In Ohio we were having a bad storm and it was a great time to also take I nap so I did so too.I didn't here a thing while I was sleeping and that was so weird to me that I heard noting.

Awww that sounds so wonderful, I would give anything to take a nap! lol... It sucks I don't think I have taken more than 5 naps since my first child was born, and she is almost 19 months. I love to sleep during storms, especially when it is raining. I think the constant sound of the rain is almost like a perfect sound to fall asleep to! Have fun, enjoy your rest, and enjoy that innocent little newborn!

All our rain was last week and we had some rain, but no storms with thunder and all . Actually, The next few days there is a chance of thunder storms and when we have those I like to sit on the porch . As for sleeping if It happens when I am in bed I like to open all the blinds and look out and fall back off to sleep . Storms can be very peaceful no doubt
